Over 20 years of experience working with IT professionals and creatives.
I started my IT career in 1996, working my way up from desktop and server support roles. After landing instructor positions at Reading Area Community College and Berks Technical Institute in Reading, PA, I developed my passion and commitment for working in higher education. Since then, I’ve written lectures and designed curriculum around both the technical and business side of IT. I’ve also been fortunate to work in the administration side of education at Kutzown University, and as a third-party provider for Arcadia University and Widener University.
While forging my path in tech education, I began taking on freelance web design projects in 2006. This shifted my focus away from the technical side, to the business of landing clients, connecting with other tech professionals, and daily grind of growing a business. Now, a new wave of technology professionals and creatives are looking to make careers out of freelancing. I want to share my experiences and become a resource to guide them through the messy parts of business ownership and onto achieving goals.
